The M&E Dispatch - 007

Loads of updates from companies and two Work Ready Profiles

Happy Friday everyone!

This edition has the first two WORK READY profiles and I couldn’t be more excited. While I come from a background in marketing, I live in a mining community and all of my friends and family either work in the industry or work for/own Blue Collar businesses that support them. I hear all the time from them that they’re trying to “break into the mines” or “would love to get a hydro contract” etc - these are “salt of the earth” types of business owners with no website, no time for networking as they’re running tools and equipment all day working on their client jobs.

I get them and from the other side I hear of people having to drive a vac truck out from Saskatchewan for an emergency fuel spill cleanup, not knowing that one of the smaller local companies just purchased one a few months earlier.

Work Ready is my attempt to help introduce these smaller companies to the people who need one extra contact in their pocket for emergency or smaller jobs.
