Hey, I'm Lee, the new owner of Mining & Energy Magazine

It’s been quite some time since we last shared an update from Mining & Energy, and I wanted to take this opportunity to reconnect. I'm Lee, the new owner. My plans are rather simple: highlight the unique and often overlooked stories that make our changing industries interesting.

1. Create a new site that makes it easier to find the latest news, insights, and updates in our industry. (Done, check it out?)

2. Relaunch the newsletter as "The Dispatch," a weekly newsletter bringing you a curated roundup of industry highlights, trends, and stories you won't want to miss.

3. Tell the stories of businesses that might not normally get coverage, shining a light on the unique contributions and innovations within our sector.

One of my favorite movies is Layer Cake, featuring Daniel Craig before he was James Bond. In this movie, there is a quote that has stuck with me for 20 years now:

That’s what I want to do for you, be a good middleman, connecting you to the stories and audiences that help you move towards your goals. Every company has a story worth sharing—whether it's about a recent new hire bringing fresh perspectives, an innovative product or service you’ve launched, a job posting for a critical role, or any initiative that showcases your company’s contributions to the sector.
